Review: Valentine’s gifts and artwork from Minted

29/01/2015 | posted under: Lifestyle, Reviews

10 ways I intend to carve out some essential 'Me Time' and take better care of myself
Where does a freelance travel writer work?

When art website Minted* offered me some credit to spend on their website in return for a review, I picked this gorgeous picture to hang in my office as it went with the colour scheme so perfectly and it summed up my way of working…

Only then I remembered it was coming up to Valentine’s Day, and I still haven’t had chance to buy anything for Husband. I decided instead to scour their seasonal Valentine’s artwork for a gift for him instead (as I’m nice like that!) Luckily he doesn’t read my blog, so won’t see this coming!

I picked this one. I love this font as well as the sentiment. It’s sweet and simple without being too soppy!

You can buy prints with or without frames (as I was having it shipped to Australia, I decided I’d go for just the print and then pick a frame myself when I receive it) in different sizes to suit your room. I felt this one would be the perfect finishing touch to our monochrome bedroom as it will look great with our new amazing headboard (the new bed, headboard and bedding were a treat to ourselves after we sold our house in the UK).

As I had a little credit left over I thought I’d add this Valentine’s card to the order too.

I hope he likes them! (I may be back to order the Trust the Mess print shortly, given the current state of my office!)

*I received credit from Minted in return for writing this post about my Valentine’s gifts. All opinions are my own.

PS Minted sell a range of beautifully crafted artwork and stationery. They also do wedding invitations and stunning Save the Date cards – I’m a little bit in love with the foil pressed cards; it’s a shame I’m already married. Maybe I need to plan to renew my vows for our 10th wedding anniversary which is approaching in June so I can get some. Come to think of it, if I planned to renew our vows somewhere tropical I’d get to go on holiday again too! #winwin I might give that some thought 🙂
