The ordinary moments #14

What are the symptoms of brain tumours in children?

While I was making lunch earlier, I heard a squeal from the living room. I rushed in to find T1 riding the rocking motorbike with his sister – thankfully it was a happy, excited squeal! It was just too cute. The rocking bike was his favourite toy as a baby and we’ve just got it out of the loft for E to play with. She’s loving it!

The smiles didn’t last long though. She’d quickly had enough of sharing her toy and told him so.

Back on her own again, she happily rocked higher and higher.

Until T2 decided to join her. She wasn’t impressed and told him to get off because it was HER bike and she didn’t need any help rocking it.

It’s funny seeing her playing with the toys that once belonged to the boys. She has to fight to get a look in though – they actually play more with the baby toys now than their own grown up toys!

Great photos! Youngest is discovering Night Garden here – suddenly iggle piggle is everyone’s favourite!

Ah the joys of Iggle Piggle. The boys passed through that one and now love Tom and Jerry at bedtime instead so E hasn’t really had the pleasure of Night Garden because they go mad if I try to put it on. Makes me a bit sad as it used to be such a big part of their bedtime routine. x

Aww bless! Kitty’s like that with the things that have come back out of the cupboards for Elma – she was rather sad when we explained she’s too big for the bouncer!

What amazing names your kids have – love it! I tried explaining to the boys they were too big for the bouncer when E was a little baby but it didn’t stop them trying to get in it every time I left the room! It bent in the end! Thankfully now she’s one her toys are a bit more sturdy but I’m constantly trying to referee as they steal them off her. x

We have similar scenes here when N decides she wants her old toys back again! xx

Why is it their old toys are far more exciting than their new toys?!

We do have a lot of clashes and arguments over their old toys. She really tells them off though if they try to take things off her – I think she’s going to be great at standing up for herself! x

Love this post as the scene is so familiar. How one minute everything can be rosy and fun, before fast turning into mayhem! You normally only see the happy smiles on photos so I love you have shown the other side too. 😉

awwww she just wants it all to herself! At times siblings can be annoying lol . I remember when we got the jumperoo out for my second and my first was most put out when I ahd to tell him that he was now too big to sit in it and bounce! x
