We went along to the family fun day at Husband’s work yesterday. He works for an aerospace company specialising in helicopters, so as you can imagine our boys were super excited to be able to see some of them up close. I had to include this as my ordinary moment – we had our picture snapped in a gazelle and for once we’re all together and everyone is looking at the camera. OK, I know that T2 is blinking, but four out of five is the most impressive family shot we’ve had taken in ages!
Afterwards, everybody went to a huge playing field nearby to eat BBQ food and candy floss on sticks, play on bouncy castles and rides and watch motorcycle displays and a live band. It was one of the best days out we’ve had all year, and it was all completely free.
There aren’t many companies out there who value their staff this much, so today we’re going to make some pictures to send to the organising committee and volunteers to say a huge thank you.
I bet the boys had a fab time in the helicopter – my son would have loved that! Lovely photo of you all 🙂
Aw what a lovely photo of you all, definitely one for a frame. It is really nice that your husband’s work treats his family like that, we never had anything like that at my work or my husbands. I bet they all loved the helicopter, I know Mads would.
Wow I wish my company would do something like this – although no helicopters so it probably wouldn’t be half as much fun!
