Did you have chance to check out the post I wrote recently about taking my blog in a slightly new direction? I’m all about trying to build a happier family home life for myself, my hubby and my kids. And that includes spending more quality time together, getting my online businesses up and running without feeling overwhelmed, and living life intentionally rather than letting it just happen to me. I’m trying to ditch the busy, stressful home life and switch it for something calmer where there is time to enjoy the little things. But the truth is it takes a lot of effort to stay on top of things.
How do you feel right now?
If I asked you how you felt right now, what would you say? Do you feel stressed out? Like you’ve got so much going on ALL THE TIME? Do you feel like sometimes keeping on top of everything is hard work? Or even that it’s just impossible? And you never get time to put yourself first? I felt that way most of the time when we lived in the UK. I felt like life was just happening to me. I felt stuck and overwhelmed by busyness and like I was aimlessly carrying on without a real plan.
Since moving to Australia, I now realise how much control we have over our own lives and how our mindset and self-care routine makes all the difference (here’s a post I wrote about finding some ‘me time‘ back when I was really struggling with it all not long after we arrived). I know that having the right systems in place helps me stay in control so I don’t end up overworked and over stressed (even though I run this blog, my migration blog and am about to embark on some more online business ventures plus obviously having three kids under eight). But it’s all a fine balance and it’s so easy to spiral back into my old ways if I don’t stay focused on taking care of myself.
It’s just not possible to do everything myself – work, keep on top of the cleaning and laundry, be the main parent doing school runs and kids’ activities, keep the household running, feed everybody AND keep myself sane – something has to give.
There is a solution to staying calm and organised. And I’m glad that I’ve learnt it now. For me, my solution is to keep doing things for myself – whether that is reading a book, taking some new courses online (I’ve just signed up to a new one which I’ll tell you about soon), getting a massage, laying in a hot tub at the gym or treating myself to some new nail varnish (seeing as I gave up biting my nails once and for all and now have pretty nails worth painting!) While I don’t have a lot of cash spare to splurge on myself (the five-star spas and luxury hotels will have to wait a few more years until all of my business ventures are up and running and making a profit), I do give myself permission to have time for me, and I allow myself to invest in things that aren’t too expensive that I know will help expand my mind, that will put me in a more positive mood or that will help me achieve my future goals. Because investing in those things is SO worth it. And if (when) some of the other things slip, that is totally OK. We can’t do everything, we just have to do the things that are the most important at the time.
Ultimate Homemaking Bundle
My reason for blogging today is to let you know about the launch of an exciting bundle of goodies from Ultimate Bundles. Last year, I purchased their Genius Blogging Toolkit and I was blown away by the value in it (it honestly contained SO MUCH STUFF). Months have passed and I’ve barely scratched the surface of everything that was included – it was just an epic amount of value. I can safely say it is one of the best things I’ve ever bought online.
I’ve just heard that Ultimate Bundles has launched a new bundle. This one is called the Ultimate Homemaking Bundle. Just like the blogging version I bought last year, this one is stacked with value. The content in the bundle is valued at a crazy $1,989.70 USD. It includes 2 summits, 21 eCourses, 51 eBooks, 1 membership site, 2 videos, 2 audios, 14 printables, 13 workbooks….plus bonuses if you buy early.
Life is all about growing and evolving and these sorts of bundles are a really inexpensive way to focus on yourself, especially when you aren’t used to putting yourself first. Not only does something like this help you focus on yourself, but it helps you change your behaviours and create new systems so your family life runs more smoothly. And who doesn’t want a smooth, easy, calm life, right?
Here’s my favourite parts of the bundle listed with their total value next to them (there are WAY too many to list them all – but these are the ones I know would benefit my life right now – there are so many more in each category and I haven’t even listed all of the categories below either)…

Get your Ultimate Homemakers Bundle
If you want to grab the bundle for yourself, you can buy it here. I honestly can’t recommend the bundles highly enough – there will be more than enough stuff here to help you transform your home life in so many ways. And if you buy it quickly you can snag some bonuses too. Just whatever you do, don’t leave it and think you’ll come back to it later. The offer is only on for a few days, and the early bird offer for the free eReader is only valid for the first two days of the sale which is already counting down. Invest in something that will help you organise you life and I know you’ll feel good about it (unlike those shoes that you bought last year in the sale that were a size too small but they were too cute to leave in the shop!). Even months later, I still feel chuffed to bits with the Blogging Toolkit I bought – I’m still amazed that they manage to get so many businesses to put their products in the bundle.
Many of the resources in the bundle cost more individually than the entire bundle! Which means if you’d considered buying one of them already, then the other many, many products are just a super-duper bonus! In fact, I’m helping you SAVE money (yes, that is a great way to justify buying it!)
If you fancy taking charge of your life and you buy it through my link, I’ll get a small commission which goes towards running this site. So you may see this promoted in lots of places, but if you enjoy reading my blog or hanging out over on my Facebook page then I would love, love, love for you to use my link 🙂 And when you do buy it (because when you click through the link and see the insane value it contains, you will), please leave a comment below to let me know what you think of it!
