I love looking over my analytics because, let’s face it, I’m a total web nerd. At the end of the year it’s a great exercise to look back over my blog content to see which posts have been the most popular. Drum roll…
TalesofaTwinMum’s top five posts, in reverse order:
5) What to pack in your hospital bags for twins or a singleton
I put this list together when I was expecting E, and I used the information I’d gathered for my upcoming book Don’t Panic! A Practical Guide to Twins, Triplets & More to create the ultimate list.
4) Review: Retractable child safety reins – Boomereins from Kool Kangaroo
This is still my all-time favourite product for twins or triplets!
3) Life hacks for parents of twins
The pic of my boys sitting in the swing together still melts my heart.
2) 10 things your should say to somebody expecting twins, and 10 things people actually say
I’m glad this has been a popular post – it’s great to think it might have made somebody think twice before saying something idiotic 🙂
1) The differences between a twin pregnancy and a singleton pregnancy
Well, I’m surprised this is my top post. Usually the differences between raising singletons and twins hits the top place, but this has fallen out of the top five completely and this one seems to have had some incredible hits this year instead.
I guess it’s safe to say my twin posts are still my most popular. Ironically, none of the above posts were written in the last year.
While I’m in the mood for stat checking, I’ve just looked at which posts have been the most popular since I moved platform a couple of years ago and do you know what? The top five posts of all time is exactly the same as the list above.
So there you go. While I’ve loved writing posts like Finding a routine that works, Travel with kids and 10 ways to carve out ‘me time’, you guys have been reading up on my old twin content. I guess it goes to show that I was always destined to write a book about twins! I’m really looking forward to launching Don’t Panic! A Practical Guide to Twins, Triplets & More once the Christmas holidays are over – time just go away with me on the run up to the festivities.
I hope you have a wonderful New Year. Thanks so much for reading and hanging out with me. And if you want to give me a belated Christmas present you could head on over to my Facebook page and give it a like (or if you already like it then share the link with your friends on Facebook!) I’d love to reach some new readers in 2016 as I have some big plans ahead!
Happy New Year! xxx
