My boys are big Tree Fu Tom fans and I was really excited to receive a pack of goodies to review* just before half term. I scurried them away and decided to wait until they were on holiday to show them the package, because I knew it would be the perfect antidote to boredom. I’m so pleased I did because then the chicken pox hit and we were trapped at home for the entire week.
We received a DVD, an activity magazine, a book and a colouring book with crayons – a great selection of products to while away a rainy afternoon or, in our case, a few days of quarantine. The magazine and the DVD both came with a small Tree Fu Tom figure which was good because it meant they could have one each.
I can safely say all of the items were a big hit.
The book has lift up flaps which contain more of the story underneath, so the boys can take part in the story telling process. I’ve already read it to them at bedtime more times than I care to mention.
The DVD will come out throughout the winter months when it’s too cold and wet to go outside, and the activity magazine is a really good way to entertain your preschoolers with something fun and educational. I would definitely buy these sorts of things as stocking fillers or keep them in a cupboard for moments of boredom. The colouring set and the magazine would be great items to have in your bag if you go out for a meal and need to keep the kids entertained between courses.
If your little ones are Tree Fu Tom fans then it’s definitely worth checking these out. Unfortunately for me they’ve been through the gift catalogue that came with the pack and have added almost everything from it onto their Christmas lists! I’d better get saving up.
