Top ten bloggers: Twin and triplet parent bloggers

31/03/2016 | posted under: All Things Twins

Do you lead an inspiring life?
Book: A Practical Guide to Twins, Triplets and More

I thought I’d start a new series of posts to share some of my favourite blogs with you. I’ve always got articles saved on my phone (if you follow my Facebook page you’ll see I regularly share posts that I love). I read constantly – a mix of family, lifestyle, travel, blogging and entrepreneurial blogs – so I figured I’d group them together into top ten lists and share some blog-love.

It seemed appropriate to kick off my first top ten bloggers post with my top ten favourite twin and triplet parent bloggers, to tie in with the recent launch of Don’t Panic! A Practical Guide to Twins, Triplets and More. They aren’t all ‘parenting’ blogs – but they are all awesome blogs by parents of multiples.

Top ten twin and triplet parent bloggers

Here’s my top ten reads (in no particular order as they’re all fab!)

Mini Travellers
This award-winning family travel blog is written by another Karen who also has three children, including twins. Whether you’re looking for days out in the UK, short breaks or epic family holidays – this site is such a great resource and is full of inspiration for travel-addicts like me. I love that Karen inspires people to get out there and have fun with their kids – pop over to become part of her huge Facebook community.

The Twinkle Diaries
This lifestyle blog encompasses interiors and pretty colours with a smattering of twin fun thrown in for good measure. Caro is well worth a follow on Instagram, and if, like me, you’re interested in learning calligraphy (it’s on my list to learn once my new business is up and running) you’ll love seeing her pics

Mummy of Boy Girl Twins
Mummy of Boy Girl Twins is a sleek and beautiful lifestyle blog filled with inspiring photos. It feels light and bright, just like a glossy interiors magazine and it also has a good mix of parenting and fashion posts scattered in with the home and interior posts. You also need to follow Jess on Instagram too as her images are just as eye-catching as her blog.

Here Come the Girls
OK, I don’t really do much craft with my kids, but if I do then I get it from this blog. I met twin mum Rebecca online when I first started my blog, and went on to meet her at a Tots100 event before I left the UK. She really is lovely and has built up a huge blog with an incredible Pinterest following. If you’re looking for something fun to do with your kids, then you need to head over to this blog!

Maris World
Mari is a twin mum that writes a home/family blog (it’s family, travel, lifestyle, food – all mixed together). It’s full of family favourites like recipes, days out and real life. It’s very easy to read and is the kind of blog that makes me want to grab a coffee put my feet up and settle in. Mari can also be found over on her popular Facebook page too.

Growing Spaces
I’ve followed Heather since her Young and Younger days when her twins were small. As they started school she moved her focus to her newer blog, Growing Spaces, where she shares her love of interiors and family lifestyle with plenty of beautiful photographs and videos. It’s a stylish, elegant and easy-on-the-eye blog that is definitely worth checking out if you like looking at smart and pretty things. Check out her Facebook page too for more inspiration.

Renovation Bay-bee
Steph and me go way back to when I was expecting my twin boys and we met at my local (at the time) twin club in Hampshire when her tiny ID twin girls were just a few weeks old. She also has an older son and loves everything from travel, to baking to buying houses and renovating them. Her blog is a perfect mix of reviews, days out and trips, and interior ideas all mixed in with a bit of inspiration about her role as a hearing dog trainer. Go say hi to her on Twitter as she’s one of the loveliest bloggers you will meet!

Hayley From Home
Hayley has possibly the most scrummy twin boys since my guys were little (true story). They are just utterly adorable and looking at pictures of them on Instagram with their gorgeous eyes takes me right back to when my boys were that age. I love that her blog is sleek and smart while also sharing the fun and crazy side of having multiples. I love her photos – they feel so authentic and ‘real’ which I think is a very rare quality for a blogger to have.

Twin Mummy and Daddy
Twin Mummy and Daddy is a blog packed with posts on all things family related. From crafts and parenting through to reviews and days out. You certainly won’t get bored, with new posts added every day there is always so much to read and enjoy. You can also hop over and find them on Twitter.

Kids Days Out Reviews
Fellow twin mum Joanne Brady has been on the blogging scene for years, and we hooked up online back when she had a twin parenting blog when our kids were small. She has now moved on to her award winning (and awesome) Kids Days Out Reviews blog which is the place to go for inspiration for family days out in the UK. Joanne edited my book for me, has published her own fantastic e-book (How to Make a Living from your Social Media Skills ), and also runs a busy social media management business too, so go and show her some love.

Advert for Don't Panic! A Practical Guide to Twins, Triplets and More

Have I missed anyone?

Have I missed off any of your favourites – if so please link them in the comments below so I can check them out! Narrowing it down to just ten was pretty difficult as there are so many out there that I love to read.

If you enjoy these blogs, you might like to check out my new book about expecting and raising multiples – Don’t Panic! A Practical Guide to Twins, Triplets and More. You can find out more about it on my book launch page.

PS OK, the deliberate mistake is that all of the above are twin parent bloggers. My favourite triplet parent blogger – Caitlin’s Happy Heart – has unfortunately been hacked and her site is down at the moment so I had to take it off the list. I’ll add a link and description to it when the site is back up as it is a lovely blog about the fun of raising triplets plus two and Caitlin was the first Aussie blogger I got to know just before we relocated over to Brisbane! You can still find Caitlin’s blog page on Facebook in the meantime though.
