Create your own BBQ pizza grill: From BBQ to pizza oven!

Kids making pizzas to go on the bbq

One of the things I love most about Australia is that we have bbqs all the time. This was the sort of lifestyle that we dreamed of having in the UK - having the weather to be outdoors and cook outdoors whenever we felt like it.We have at least one bbq a week, often more. If you follow my migration Instagram account, you'll see that I love nothing more than firing up our Weber while watching the kids splash around in the pool. And I've been secretly lusting after a pizza oven/pizza grill . . . Keep Reading

Do YOU want to run an online business and work from home part-time?

A work at home part time mum on a laptop

I've been self-employed for about 12 years now, and since my boys arrived I've been a work at home mum. Knowing I was expecting twins definitely shifted my career focus. This was for two reasons: I realised just how expensive a day of nursery care for two babies was going to be, and I also knew that I wanted to be around to see my babies grow as much as I possibly could. Over the last couple of years, I've spent hours doing paid online courses and free online training. I've probably joined hundreds of Facebook groups and added myself to more email lists than I can count. The idea of online learning is so . . . Keep Reading

A lady who hates cleaning and laundry trying to reclaim her weekend

I've never liked cleaning. I LOVE having a clean house, but the process of getting there has never been much fun for me. When I worked less it wasn't too hard to keep on top of the house, but now that I'm working quite long hours on my online businesses it doesn't leave me with much spare time to get stuff done. When my kids are at school and daycare, that is my work time so I can't waste it by cleaning. . . . Keep Reading

The secrets to a calmer, more organised family life

27/04/2017 | posted under: Lifestyle

Did you have chance to check out the post I wrote recently about taking my blog in a slightly new direction? I’m all about trying to build a happier family home life for myself, my hubby and my kids. And that includes spending more quality time together, getting my online businesses up and running without feeling overwhelmed, and living life intentionally rather than letting it just happen to me. I'm trying to ditch the busy, stressful home life and switch it for something calmer where there is . . . Keep Reading
