Review: My Lil Pouch – A reusable baby food pouch

25/09/2013 | posted under: Reviews

Given our plans to emigrate, I’ve been chatting on Twitter and Facebook to parent bloggers in Australia. A Queensland based mum of two sets of twins (yes, you read that right – TWO sets of twins) asked me to review* a product that she created with another mum because their product was launching in the UK.My Lil Pouch is a reusable food pouch that you can fill with your own purees. If you like the concept of the baby food pouches from the supermarket, but you don’t like the cost of them or the . . . Keep Reading

Review: Lava Shell massage from Imagine Spa Shop

16/09/2013 | posted under: Reviews

It's been a long summer. Six weeks of having three under fours at home. Six weeks of no childcare help. It's been exhausting looking after the kids during the day, working in the evenings and often at weekends, while trying to do fun family things to make the most of summer. When a fellow twin mum, known on Twitter as the Spa Pixie, asked if I'd review* one of the products from her Imagine Spa Shop, I almost bit her hand off. I had no idea what product I would receive - I trusted . . . Keep Reading

Twin Club member benefits and Review: Xpress Beauty, Whiteley

I had to try really hard not to fall asleep as I lay on the comfortable massage bed and snuggled under the warm blanket. The scent of the 'relaxing' aromatherapy oil was doing its trick, and the member of staff who had the tough task of trying to pummel out the knots and strains on my back was doing a wonderful job of relieving the tension caused by lifting and carrying three kids, a buggy and countless bags and lunch boxes. I could easily spend every Sunday like this, enjoying a twin mum pamper . . . Keep Reading

Review: FlowRider at the Retallack Resort and Spa, Cornwall

29/06/2013 | posted under: Family Travel, Events & Leisure, Reviews

This is the second part of my review of the Retallack Resort and Spa - a twin and triplet friendly holiday I was invited along to review.Ever heard of Flowboarding? Me neither, until I booked our holiday in Cornwall. Retallack is home to the Loop FlowRider, so it would have been rude not to try it. I hope this explains what it's all about..."Flowboarding was started by surfers, but the new sport we have developed takes in aspects of all the board sports. Flowboarding is skateboarding . . . Review of an Android tablet for families to share: Lenovo Ideatab A2109A

28/06/2013 | posted under: Reviews

One of the hot topics in the Facebook family forums is always what tablet to buy to share with the kids. The specific children's tablets are great, but at three and a half I feel like my boys would have benefited from one of those a year ago. I think that buying one now could be a waste of money because they'd probably outgrow it within a year. When it came to their birthday and Christmas last year there were other things we wanted to buy them, so at the time we made a decision to wait and get a . . . Keep Reading
